I am the senior engineer for a high growth start-up consulting practice that is based around Microsoft products. I am the first employee hired into the business and I have been the technical specialist that has built the processes for the technologies deployed to clients as well as being the technical evangelist to champion technologies internally and for clients. The client base I have helped build and deploy technologies to include a financial service company for the utility industry, a multi-state seed company, a national lock and security company, a multi-state financial services company that services the Latino community. The major factor for success of the business and my personal success is developing trust with clients by providing the right recommendations and consistently delivering quality. In this role I am required to know many and diverse technologies that our varied clients need. In this role I act as the network administrator and manager for a large and diverse group of people. I am also required to plan and coordinate projects that involve external and internal resources.

Provided services as a technical trainer for Knowledge Resource Group and providing instruction for corporate and private individuals. Provided training to employees from such companies as Eli Lilly, Raytheon, Cummins and the Department of Defense. I trained the students from these companies in such areas as Active Directory, Network Engineering, Network Administration, SMS 2.0, troubleshooting, Network design and planning, and migration, A+, MCSE, WAN design, LAN design and advanced network security. Duties also included network engineering and administration of servers, workstations and physical network for KRG. During this time I was also required to assist students in relating the classroom information to real world situations by helping them solve problems in their places of employment as well as assisting them in designing migrations and helping them through problems encountered along the way.

Provided services as an administrator in a Windows server environment with then current technologies. Provided user help, network maintenance, network development, system support, system implementation, and system planning for the entire agency. I designed implemented, supported and administered the upgrade from NT 4 to Windows 2000 on both the desktop servers. I Administered the LAN, NT 4 servers, Windows 2000 Servers, NT 4 and 2000 workstations, SMS 2.0, Exchange, SQL, Proxy, IIS, Veritas Backup Exec, as well as designing an Antivirus solution to replace one that was not working. While at this position I designed, implemented and supported SMS 2.0. I designed, maintained and managed the backup system. I was involved in decisions about the future of the agencies network and help guide them into the future. I was involved with researching new technologies to meet the various needs of the agency as well as managing the purchase of equipment and software.
